Shannon Elizabeth's Fresh Start

Shannon Elizabeth is turning the page to a vibrant new chapter, far from the Hollywood spotlight. Best known for her iconic role in 'American Pie,' Elizabeth is now savoring what she affectionately calls one of her "best chapters." She's juggling her time between exciting wildlife conservation efforts in South Africa, growing her charity, and a venture into OnlyFans that's already breaking records.

"I envision being very busy. I envision this being, like, one of my best chapters," Elizabeth shared with Us Weekly in May 2026. "I want to be busy with projects. I want to be busy with my charity. I want everything to just grow and be successful."

After quietly parting ways with her husband, Simon Borchert, in the fall of 2025, Elizabeth is embracing a life that's a world away from her Hollywood origins.

A Passionate Mission in South Africa

Elizabeth plans to keep her roots planted in South Africa, though her work takes her across the globe several times a year. "My dog's here, so it's easier to travel [internationally] with your dog," she told Us in May 2026. Her main focus is her Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, established in 2018 to protect endangered species and preserve habitats.

"When I started my charity in the U.S., it was called Animal Avengers," she explained. "This charity is just the next evolution of that. It's the same nonprofit number. We just changed our mission."

Despite her divorce, Elizabeth is determined to continue her work, with operations moving at an exciting pace. "Things are moving faster than ever," she noted, thrilled by the progress.

OnlyFans: A New Avenue

In April 2026, Elizabeth launched an OnlyFans account as a bold move to reclaim her narrative in an industry where she felt others had too much control. "I'm choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free," she told People.

Her decision paid off quickly, reportedly earning her $1 million within the first week. "[My manager told me], ‘You've now made more money in the span of a week or two than you did on American Pie, Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Love Actually combined," she shared with Us.

Elizabeth is also open to collaborating on OnlyFans with friend and 'Love Actually' co-star Denise Richards. "Denise has been really helpful," Elizabeth noted. "I'm sure sometime in the future, maybe we'll do a collaboration together."

Life Beyond Acting

While Elizabeth has stepped back from acting, she hasn't entirely ruled out future projects. Although not reprising her role as Buffy Gilmore in the Wayans family's Scary Movie revival, a return isn't off the table, according to Marlon Wayans. Beyond acting, Elizabeth has explored other interests, like poker, participating in the World Series of Poker, and appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

Embracing the Future

Elizabeth is relishing her newfound independence and clarity, telling Us that she's in "one of [her] best chapters." "I've been separated since September of last year, and this has been a thoughtful, ongoing process," she explained. "I feel stronger, clearer, and happier than I have in a very long time."
