Allegations of Deception Unfold

In a story that sounds like it was ripped from a crime drama, a Hunterdon County man is under investigation for allegedly using the popular platform OnlyFans to deceive women into believing they were in exclusive romantic relationships with him. According to a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause, the man in question, Aaron M. Falvo, 24, from Raritan Township, has been charged with a series of crimes, including theft by deception and falsifying records.

The Players in the Scheme

Falvo wasn't acting alone, investigators claim. Allegedly working alongside him were Sarah Knott from California, Armaan Shah, and Grace Mendoza. These accomplices are accused of impersonating Falvo online, communicating with victims, and coaxing them into parting with their money. All three face similar theft-by-deception charges, as per the court documents.

"One woman was led to believe she was in a genuine relationship with Falvo and sent him nearly $300,000," the police report reveals.

Victims and Financial Manipulations

The shocking details don't end there. Court documents indicate that Falvo's alleged deceit led one woman to part with a whopping $300,000 after thinking she was romantically involved with him through OnlyFans, beginning in late 2024. Over $100,000 was reportedly extracted under false pretenses, with Falvo claiming the money was for dental work, a pickup truck, a motorcycle, and various other expenses for their imagined future.

Another victim, also ensnared in this web of deceit, sent over $500, convinced of her exclusive relationship with Falvo. The group reportedly exploited these women emotionally, fabricating financial emergencies and setting "nightly goals" to encourage more money transfers. In one instance, they even helped a victim open a new bank account after fraud safeguards had limited her transfers.

Web of Lies and Financial Transactions

The investigation reveals a sophisticated operation. Records from OnlyFans, Discord, and financial institutions show how the group members took turns posing as Falvo to keep the illusion alive. Falvo is also accused of crafting a fake employment contract to facilitate continued money transfers after banks raised fraud alarms.

Authorities further allege that Falvo laundered the scam's proceeds through various financial accounts, purchasing a pickup truck and motorcycle, and making payments to alleged co-conspirators. As of now, Falvo faces ongoing court proceedings after being released from custody on April 7, following his March 26 charge filing.

OnlyFans has declined to comment on the ongoing investigation, yet emphasized that their Terms of Service strictly forbid fraudulent activities on their platform.
