Fitness influencer Chelsea Jenks, known for her vibrant presence on social media, recently revealed the unexpected source of her OnlyFans career – her own father. In a candid press release, Chelsea shared that her dad, who is a boxing enthusiast, was the first to suggest she explore the platform. "My dad is really into boxing, and you get a lot of women boxers who also do OnlyFans," Chelsea, 29, explained. "Years before I ever started, he actually said to me, 'You should do OnlyFans.' There was a female boxer he followed who had 'no nudes' written in her bio, and he thought it seemed like a good way to make money."
"I remember explaining to him it was a lot more than just pictures and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it," Chelsea noted, highlighting her initial hesitance.
It wasn't until years later that Chelsea finally decided to launch her OnlyFans page, a move that has since become a playful topic between her and her dad. Despite his strictness during her upbringing, especially regarding relationships, Chelsea's father has been supportive of her career choice.
Growing up, Chelsea recalls her father's strict rules about boys and dating. "When I was like 16, I remember asking my dad, 'Oh, can I go stay at my boyfriend’s house?' And he would straight up be like, 'No,'" she recounted. Despite this strictness, when Chelsea informed her father about her new venture, expecting an awkward conversation, she was met with surprising acceptance. "I saw my dad that weekend and said, 'I’ve started OnlyFans, I don’t know if you saw.' He’d already seen it and was just like, 'Yeah, that’s alright,'" she shared.
Chelsea's parents, who know about her topless content, have never judged her career choice. "I’m a good daughter, I’m respectful, and I’ve got good manners," Chelsea remarked, emphasizing that her parents' primary concern is her happiness and financial security.
While Chelsea has her family's unwavering support, she acknowledges that others haven't been so understanding. "When I first started, I went on a content trip with girls who were more in the porn star space. A family friend unfollowed me," she remembered. The friend expressed discomfort with Chelsea's association with OnlyFans, highlighting the stigma that often follows those in the adult content industry.
Despite the judgments, Chelsea remains confident in her choices and relationship with her long-term partner, Will. "People look down on girls on OnlyFans and assume we’re a certain way," she said, pointing out the double standards in society. Chelsea concludes that everyone has different sides to themselves, and as long as she's happy and not harming anyone, her career choice is valid and empowering.
