Former glamour model Nicola McLean is taking a bold stand against the sensational earnings reported by celebrity stars on OnlyFans. According to her, the six-figure monthly earnings often touted by these celebrities are nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
In a candid chat on the Option One Podcast, hosted by Babestation, Nicola voiced her skepticism, saying those sky-high figures just don't add up. She warned that such claims can mislead everyday women into believing they can easily strike it rich on the platform.
“You get celebrity females as well going, ‘I earn half a million pounds a month.’ It’s b******t.”
Nicola doesn't mince words when criticizing celebrities like Katie Price and Kerry Katona, who often share their alleged earnings on public platforms. She points out that after paying management fees, OnlyFans' cut, and taxes, the take-home pay might not be as impressive as it seems.
The former Page 3 star shared her concerns about how exaggerated earnings can lure women into the industry with unrealistic expectations. "I feel like people are lying about what they're earning," she explained, noting the disturbing trend of "normal girls" expecting to make thousands from simple content.
Nicola also highlighted how the industry has evolved since her Page 3 days, saying today's creators face unique pressures. "For us Page 3 girls, we could have boundaries," she reflected, sharing that her limit was topless modeling.
The rise of agencies managing OnlyFans accounts also caught her attention. Nicola criticized these agencies for taking significant portions of creators' earnings and expressed dismay over the use of bots to interact with subscribers. "If you're subscribing and paying £10 a month but you're talking to a bot, that's rude," she said.
Her remarks come amid ongoing debates about the realities of life on OnlyFans, where the allure of easy money continues to captivate many hopefuls.
