Alabama's Unexpected OnlyFans Expenditure

In a surprising revelation, Alabama residents spent an impressive $30 million on OnlyFans in 2025, as reported by the blog OnlyGuider. This figure places Alabama among the lower-ranked states in terms of per-capita spending in the United States. Despite this, the state's total expenditure secured a respectable 27th place nationwide when considering sheer dollars spent across all states and the District of Columbia.

Interestingly, when adjusted for population, Alabama's spending was calculated at $58,335 for every 10,000 residents, landing it in 47th place. OnlyFans, a platform that offers subscription-based access to creators' content, continues to be a lucrative business, and Alabama's contribution, though modest, highlights some intriguing local trends.

“While Alabama’s overall spending was modest compared with many states, a handful of cities and counties stood out for their spending levels,” the study noted.

Birmingham Takes Center Stage in Spending

Among Alabama's cities, Birmingham takes the crown with a noteworthy $4.8 million spent, translating to $244,494 per 10,000 residents. This density of spending ranked Birmingham 13th among 167 cities analyzed nationwide. Following Birmingham, Mobile claimed second place in the state, with $2.5 million in spending and $132,416 per 10,000 residents, placing it 51st nationally.

Meanwhile, other notable cities like Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, and Montgomery showed significantly lower figures, underscoring Birmingham's dominant position in Alabama's OnlyFans landscape. Birmingham's expenditure density was nearly double that of Mobile and more than quadruple that of other cities like Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, and Montgomery.

Counties with Noteworthy Expenditure

On the county level, Jefferson County led with an estimated $6.7 million in annual spending, ranking it 62nd nationally among counties studied. However, smaller counties like Perry County outshone larger ones when adjusted for population, boasting the highest spending density in the state at $110,253 per 10,000 residents.

Other counties such as Mobile, Sumter, and Lamar followed, showcasing a pattern where smaller counties often surpassed their larger counterparts in spending density. The study's findings reveal intriguing trends within Alabama's spending habits on OnlyFans.

Alabama's Place on the National Stage

Compared to other states, Alabama's spending per capita was relatively low, with only Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi ranking lower. The District of Columbia led the nation with a staggering $129,655 per 10,000 residents, followed by North Dakota and Nevada.

The state's figures are particularly interesting given Alabama's strict adult-content laws, which require age verification for access to explicit content online. However, OnlyFans has continued to operate within the state, thanks to its existing identity-verification systems, allowing it to comply with these regulations effectively.
