"From the very beginning, you can see that Cassie has this need to be loved," Sweeney explained. "She has a need to be validated by other people," Sweeney continued, adding that Cassie's desire for attention is like a lighthouse in her often stormy world. "He asked me how I felt about it, and I told him, 'Look, I'm playing a character.'"

"Would I personally make these choices? No, of course not," Sweeney admitted. "But I'm an actor and that's my job, and this is Cassie's life."

Levinson also chimed in on Sweeney's reaction to the storyline, admitting that initially, he considered shooting the scenes without nudity. But Sweeney's response was clear: "I'm playing an OnlyFans model. You're telling me you're going to, like, skirt around it?" she reportedly questioned, making a "fair point," according to Levinson in a New York Times interview.
