Romance Ruse: N.J. Man Allegedly Swindles $100K Using Onlyfans Love Story

Authorities are on the hunt for luxury items a New Jersey man, Aaron Falvo, allegedly acquired through a romance scam that siphoned $100,000 from a European woman. According to court records, Falvo, 24, from Flemington, faces charges of theft by deception, money laundering, and falsifying records following the scheme's revelation.

Falvo's deceptive tactics reportedly convinced a woman from the U.K. to send him substantial sums of money. The funds were allegedly used for extravagant purchases, including five motorcycles, a MacBook, and an iPad. Now, the Hunterdon County prosecutor has moved to seize these items and freeze two accounts at Vanguard and Affinity Credit Union. Falvo's attorney, Keith Hirschorn, has yet to comment on the allegations.

"Falvo's 'nightly goals' were nothing more than a guise to extract money from unsuspecting victims on OnlyFans," a source close to the investigation revealed.

The case centers on a relationship that began in 2024 on OnlyFans, a platform where users can subscribe to creators' content. Falvo allegedly manipulated the woman into believing they would share a life together in New Jersey, prompting her to send money for shared items. The woman reportedly forked out $11,000 for dental work, $8,000 for a 'nightly goal', $51,000 for a pickup truck, $40,000 to fund a social media career, and $6,000 for a motorcycle.

The elaborate scam unraveled in 2025 when another man confessed online to his involvement in the scheme, admitting to impersonating Falvo. This confession led the woman to report the scam to Raritan Township police, who subsequently confiscated the disputed items. As the case awaits presentation to a grand jury, the prosecutor's office remains tight-lipped about the proceedings.
