Denise Richards' Divorce Drama Intensifies: Aaron Phypers Files For Contempt

Denise Richards' headline-making divorce saga with Aaron Phypers has reached a new level of tension. The latest development? Phypers has formally asked the court to charge Richards with contempt, claiming she hasn't met her financial obligations.

According to a report by TMZ, Phypers' court filings allege that Richards has not fully paid the temporary spousal support and attorney fees that she was supposed to. Specifically, Richards was ordered to pay $5,000 monthly in spousal support and $30,000 in legal fees, but Phypers claims she has only made partial payments since March. He estimates the outstanding debt to be around $41,500, combining both unpaid spousal support and legal fees.

In his legal documents, Phypers argues that Richards has the financial means to fulfill these court-ordered payments but has yet to do so. A hearing on Phypers' contempt request is slated for September 14.

The couple's divorce proceedings have been anything but smooth, with Phypers initially filing for divorce in July 2025 and seeking financial support. Complicating matters further, Richards pursued a restraining order against him, citing abuse allegations, which he has denied. Despite the tensions, Richards was granted a permanent restraining order.

Adding to the complexity, Phypers previously claimed that Richards earns over $250,000 a month from her OnlyFans account and various reality TV projects. So far, Richards has not publicly addressed these latest claims about the unpaid financial support.

As the legal wrangling continues, it's clear that the road to resolution for Richards and Phypers is far from over.
