Delawareans might be surprised to learn that their state poured a hefty $6.7 million into OnlyFans last year. But hold your horses – despite this seemingly impressive figure, Delaware lands near the bottom in per-capita spending. According to the independent OnlyFans search engine, OnlyGuider, the First State ranks 46th out of 50 states plus Washington, DC, in terms of spending per person.
"Nobody else tracks data at this level," said OnlyGuider CEO Sam Pierce. "It is controversial. It sparks debate and reaction everywhere."
Meanwhile, Washington, DC, takes the top spot with a staggering $129,655 spent per 10,000 residents. Delaware's figure, by comparison, is $63,760 per 10,000 residents, proving that the state's smaller size doesn't equate to higher spending.
Delving deeper into Delaware's spending, New Castle County leads with nearly $4 million, dwarfing Sussex County's $1.5 million and Kent County's $1.2 million expenditures. The story takes a twist when adjusting for population, with Kent County rivaling New Castle County's spending per capita, despite its smaller size.
On a more granular level, Wilmington tops total spending at $1.3 million, but Newark steals the spotlight with the highest rate per 10,000 residents at $176,759. Variations are striking across communities, with Newark's rate nearly double that of Smyrna, the lowest at $88,415 per 10,000 residents.
Looking at the bigger picture, Pennsylvania emerges as the regional leader in total OnlyFans spending with a whopping $100.3 million. Yet, when numbers are adjusted for population, the gap shrinks significantly. Pennsylvania spends $76,741 per 10,000 residents, with New Jersey and Maryland not far behind at $71,912 and $69,129, respectively.
This analysis highlights that while Pennsylvania's total spending is $32 million more than New Jersey's, the per-capita difference is less than $5,000 per 10,000 residents, showcasing a much closer rivalry than raw figures suggest.
Delaware's OnlyFans creators are no small fry either, with 1,618 creators generating over $2.1 million in revenue last year, contributing $424,969 in taxes. Despite accounting for just 0.25% of the entire U.S. OnlyFans market, Delaware's creators continue to make waves.
These numbers paint a fascinating picture of digital consumption and production in Delaware, illustrating the diverse landscape of online content engagement across the state.
