Hey, Plathville fans, brace yourselves for some serious family drama! In an exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, September 16, episode of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, shared by Us Weekly, Veronica Peters - Micah Plath’s then-girlfriend - isn’t mincing words about where she stands with his family. Buckle up, because this ride to Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse’s wedding gets bumpy fast.
While chatting with Micah, 24, in the car, Veronica opens up about her rocky relationships with his siblings. She’s been clashing with Micah’s sister Moriah, 23, all season after accusations of stirring up old drama about a toxic ex. But it seems Veronica’s ready to bury the hatchet - kind of. ‘I looked at Moriah the other day, and using what I’ve learned in therapy, I don’t think she meant to hurt me. She’s hurting herself and carries a lot of blame,’ she muses.
But when it comes to Micah’s brother Ethan, 27, and his girlfriend Teegan Nichols, Veronica’s not feeling the love. Let’s just say her words are... spicy, and not in a sweet way. Keep reading for the tea!
Veronica doesn’t hold back when it comes to Ethan and Teegan, dropping a bombshell that’s got everyone talking. ‘Teegan and Ethan, I just can’t. In the nicest way possible, I think Teegan’s a calculated... slut,’ she declares in the preview, alleging Teegan slid into Ethan’s DMs and ‘stalked’ him, fully aware of the life she was stepping into. Ouch, talk about a low blow!
‘I’m not here to play nice when someone comes for me. If Ethan steps out of line, I’m coming for him and his girlfriend, no holds barred,’ Veronica snaps, doubling down on her fiery stance.
Micah tries to play peacemaker, reminding Veronica that whatever went down between Ethan and Teegan is their business. But Veronica’s not having it, retorting, ‘It is, but if Ethan comes for me, I’m coming for him and his slutty girlfriend.’ When Micah pleads with her to stop the name-calling, she cheekily quips, ‘Slutty’s not a name. That’s an adjective.’ Oh, burn!
Poor Micah seems stuck between a rock and a hard place. In a confessional, he reflects on Veronica’s harsh words, admitting he doesn’t always vibe with her choice of language. ‘Veronica calls Teegan a slut. Like, why? They’d only met once before the wedding rehearsal, and it went fine,’ he tells the cameras, clearly puzzled by the hostility.
Micah, who started dating Veronica in 2023 and has been attending therapy with her this season, notes the irony in her behavior. Despite her claims of being against bullying and name-calling, he sighs, ‘She’s going all out against Teegan. It doesn’t feel like we’re solving conflict any differently after therapy than before.’ Yikes, sounds like trouble in paradise!
Adding fuel to the fire, past tensions linger. Earlier in season 7, Veronica accused Micah of cheating during their long-distance relationship - an allegation he confirmed. Though he claimed they’d moved past it, trust issues keep bubbling up, especially with Veronica’s insecurities about Teegan.
The drama doesn’t stop there, darling readers. Veronica previously stirred the pot by claiming Teegan had an OnlyFans account - a platform often associated with adult content - and even accused Micah of searching for her photos online after she spilled the beans. Teegan denied the rumors during the September 2 episode, but Veronica wasn’t backing down, forbidding Micah from being around her. Talk about territorial!
This led to a showdown with Ethan, who didn’t take kindly to Veronica’s attitude. ‘She’s become quite a little demon,’ he remarked in the September 9 episode. Meanwhile, Teegan’s taking the high road, vowing to ‘kill her with kindness.’ Classy move, girl!
Fans initially warmed to Veronica when she debuted in season 6, but her on-screen demeanor toward Micah and his family has shifted in season 7. And here’s the latest scoop: since filming wrapped, Veronica announced in July that she and Micah have called it quits. Guess some drama just can’t be resolved!
With tensions running high, it’s clear the Plath family dynamics are messier than ever. From Veronica’s sharp tongue to lingering trust issues with Micah, and now her beef with Ethan and Teegan, every episode feels like a rollercoaster. Will they find a way to smooth things over at Lydia’s wedding, or is more chaos on the horizon?
