In a surprising twist of events, Tianna Moon, a 30-year-old OnlyFans creator from East Anglia, claims her social media accounts were suspended because her naturally large bust was mistaken for artificial intelligence trickery. Tianna, who boasts a natural 32OO bust, found herself temporarily banned from Instagram and Facebook after users reported her photos as fake.
Tianna's striking figure is not the result of digital enhancements but rather a rare medical condition known as gigantomastia. This condition, characterized by excessive breast tissue growth, led her breasts to balloon from an L cup to an M cup in 2024, before continuing to grow. Tianna explains, “Typical breasts have a high fat content. With gigantomastia, breast tissue is made up differently.” The Cleveland Clinic notes that gigantomastia can cause various physical and emotional challenges, including pain and body image issues.
“Whether they’re seeing a change in my body – due to my weight loss after my gastric sleeve – rather than my breasts and thinking ‘they must be fake’. They’ve said ‘Isn’t AI good’ or ‘nice to see you’ve AI’d them’, all on unedited pics. I just took the photo and uploaded because the lighting was good.”
Despite the misunderstanding, Tianna's journey on social media and OnlyFans has been a success. After joining the adult subscription platform in 2021 due to a work-related injury, she has been earning around £10,000 monthly. Tianna expressed her desire for independence post-COVID, saying, "after Covid and furlough I decided I wanted to work for myself and be in charge, manage my own schedule and still make money."
As Tianna tackles the backlash, she points out that most of the AI-related comments stem from Facebook and Instagram. Meta, the parent company of both platforms, acknowledged the situation with a statement: “Our policies apply to everyone and, while we always work to apply them as accurately and consistently as possible, no system is perfect and sometimes we make mistakes.”
Despite the challenges, Tianna remains undeterred, continuing her career with confidence and resilience, using her platform to shed light on gigantomastia and the societal perceptions surrounding it.
