Sami Sheen, the 21-year-old daughter of Hollywood legends Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, has taken social media by storm with a revelation as daring as her past ink choices. This week, Sami announced she's embarking on a tattoo removal journey, intending to wipe her canvas clean of all 18 tattoos she's accumulated since she was just 16.
Sami's tattoo adventure began with the assistance of a cousin, who inked her first eight designs before she was old enough to visit a tattoo parlor. Since then, she's added ten more pieces, creating a tapestry of personal stories and youthful whims across her body. But now, in a candid TikTok 'tattoo tour,' she's laid her inked heart bare, explaining why she's ready to part ways with her body art.
"The reason I've never done a tattoo tour is because I'm severely insecure about all my tattoos. I got all of them before any part of my brain was developed," Sami confessed to her followers.
Sami's tattoos tell a colorful story, from a cherub with a joint to a quote from 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.' There's a matching horseshoe tattoo she once got with a friend, now an ex-friend, and a sentimental image of her late dog, Sugar, inked by her foot.
As she showcased each piece, Sami shared the stories behind them, like her 'least favorite' cherub tattoo that she now prefers to cover with baggy shirts. She also revealed a fondness for a 'cute little cow' and expressed regret over some of her cousin's less polished work.
While Sami loves some of her designs, practicality has won out. In the field she wishes to enter, visible tattoos might not be ideal. Despite her affection for the fairies on her forearm, she's unsure if keeping them is wise. Some tattoos, like her fairy wings, might stick around simply because removal would be too painful. Yet, Sami's determined to start anew, even though the process is expected to take up to two years.
"I am so excited to see all of these tattoos leave my body, but it is going to take probably two years so I'm dreading it," Sami shared, her excitement tempered with a touch of apprehension.
As she bids farewell to her inked past, Sami Sheen embraces a future of change and self-discovery, inviting fans along for the ride.
