Despite her earnings surpassing $385,000 from subscriptions since 2024, the authorities managed to access her private channels through a controlled purchase, leading to the pornographic classification of her materials.

Vershinina's case isn't an isolated one. Russian authorities have been tightening the reins on adult content creators, especially those leveraging platforms like OnlyFans. Another high-profile case involves Diana Shurygina, who rose to fame in 2017 through a controversial talk show. She's currently under house arrest for distributing pornographic content as part of an organized group, alongside her partner and a producer.

The ambiguity in Russian law regarding what constitutes pornography places heavy reliance on state expert evaluations. This has led to increased scrutiny and legal challenges for many in the adult content industry, as observed in recent cases.
