Piper Rockelle Takes on the Critics

Newly-minted OnlyFans star, Piper Rockelle, isn't holding back after her jaw-dropping $3.4 million first-day earnings on the platform stirred up a storm of controversy. The 18-year-old YouTube personality has been in the public eye since she was just eight, and now she's addressing the backlash head-on.

Taking to TikTok, Rockelle candidly confronted her critics, highlighting the hypocrisy she sees in their actions. "You guys cannot convince me that I'm the gross one," she stated. "Tell me why every single one of my search bars is, 'Piper Rockelle unblurred photos', 'Piper Rockelle leak photos', 'Piper Rockelle ass pics'."

“Y’all are so quick to hate it, yet so fast to search that s*** up,” she challenged in her response, turning the tables on her detractors.

Despite the criticism, Rockelle remains unfazed, adding, "Who's the real gross one? You. Actually, I don't mind. If you're going on there, if you're buying s***, do whatever you want, take everything."

A Calculated Shift in Career

Rockelle’s pivot from YouTube to OnlyFans wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. After celebrating her 18th birthday in August 2025, she teased her move to the adult platform across her social media profiles, building up anticipation among her followers.

For Rockelle, the change is about more than just financial gain. It's about reclaiming her narrative. "If people are going to write my narrative and say that I've been exploited my whole entire life, go ahead, I'm exploiting myself," she boldly declared, according to USA Today.

Having weathered public scrutiny, legal challenges, and a critical Netflix documentary, Rockelle is no stranger to controversy. Yet, she remains committed to telling her own story, even if it means facing criticism. "I enjoy doing what I'm doing," she added. "I really don’t care what people have to say."

Growing Up Under the Spotlight

Rockelle's journey began at a young age as she captured hearts with her YouTube channel, joining forces with "The Squad" to deliver viral pranks and challenges. Her rise to over 10 million subscribers was meteoric, but not without its challenges.

In 2022, her world was rocked by a lawsuit from former Squad members against her mother, Tiffany Smith, alleging mistreatment and financial discrepancies. The case, settled for $1.85 million, resulted in YouTube demonetizing her channel, further straining Rockelle's mental health.

The scrutiny intensified with the release of Netflix's Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing in 2025, spotlighting the pressures young influencers face. Despite concerns about the message her OnlyFans success sends to her young fans, Rockelle is determined to chart her own course.

Experts like Dr. Yann Poncin warn of the unrealistic perceptions these influencers may create for impressionable teens. "I do think it creates an unrealistic sense of reality," Poncin commented. "This just really presents as an exciting lifestyle. These girls seem to have it together. They have things, they have money, they have the shining objects."

Rockelle is aware of the influence she wields but insists she's not trying to be a role model. "That was a huge thought for me," she reflected. "Once I did decide to do this, I was like, a lot of girls are going to be disappointed, and a lot of girls are possibly going to want to follow this life path that I'm doing."

Despite the controversy, Rockelle remains focused on her aspirations. With plans to build a house and start a cat rescue, she's clearly not letting the critics slow her down.
