A Flight Disruption Over a Bikini

Influencer and OnlyFans star Kine-Chan found herself in a bit of airport drama when her choice of attire led to her being denied boarding at Navegantes-Ministro Victor Konder International Airport in southern Brazil. The 21-year-old, who is also a model, claimed that her black bikini-style two-piece, complemented by sandals and a vibrant wig, was the reason she couldn't catch her flight. She dressed as Rebecca from Netflix's anime series "Cyberpink: Edgerunners," hoping to make a quick transition to an event.

A Controversial Decision

In an Instagram post recounting the incident, Kine-Chan described the airport's decision as "a very annoying situation." She elaborated, "I tried to board at Navegantes airport dressed as Rebecca's Cosplay for an event. I already knew that I could be late, so I was dressed so as not to waste time and could go straight to my room. But I was told to go home and change clothes because the one I was wearing was not 'appropriate.' I explained that I was going to an event. Anyway, Rebecca barred."

Mixed Reactions Online

Her post quickly attracted a wave of comments on Instagram, with many users siding with the airport's stance. One commenter expressed affection for Kine-Chan but suggested, "Kine I love you but for the love of God... you could have put on an easy pull-up outfit, like a falling dress or even a button-down blouse." Another follower remarked that while a bikini isn't considered "pornography," it remains "inappropriate" for air travel.

Not an Isolated Incident

Interestingly, Kine-Chan's experience isn't unique. Earlier this year, a similar situation unfolded when two women claimed they had to change outfits publicly to board an American Airlines flight. They ended up in shorts instead of their original, less revealing outfits. Even former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo encountered a dress code dilemma, advised to cover up while traveling in shorts, a crop top, and a cardigan.

The Independent is awaiting further comments from both the influencer and Navegantes Airport, as the debate around appropriate travel attire continues to swirl.
