Something strange is brewing over at ManyVids, a platform known for its adult content that rivals the likes of OnlyFans. With millions tuning in, the platform has recently veered off course, capturing attention for its bizarre, spiritual-like postings that delve into the realms of aliens and numerology. These mysterious updates, reportedly linked to AI, have been disseminated via its official account on X and its own website, leaving users scratching their heads.
The unsettling posts have sparked a wave of concern among ManyVids' content creators. Many suspect that Bella French, the platform's CEO, might be experiencing a phenomenon experts have dubbed "AI psychosis." This term refers to delusional episodes potentially triggered by an overreliance on artificial intelligence. One creator shared their unease, saying, "If something were to happen to MV (or to my account there) due to what can only be described as AI psychosis, I would lose upwards of 14k per year — a not insignificant amount of income."
“It concerns me that access to my earnings, and more importantly my personal information, is in the hands of someone seemingly out of touch with reality.”
The cryptic posts first emerged on X, formerly known as Twitter, around mid-2025. Instead of promoting platform creators, ManyVids' account began sharing enigmatic quotes and AI-generated content. Though the posts have ceased on X, they persist on ManyVids' website, where official updates continue to baffle its audience.
Bella French, a former cam model and long-time advocate for sex workers' rights, initially established ManyVids to empower content creators. However, her recent pivot against the adult industry is raising eyebrows. Last November, she announced a mission to "transition one million people out of the adult industry," a drastic shift from her former stance.
The term "AI psychosis" has gained attention as experts identify it as a condition where individuals spiral into mental health crises, influenced by AI chatbots. While extreme cases may lead to violence, more commonly, sufferers believe they possess supernatural powers or have made groundbreaking discoveries.
ManyVids creators are left feeling both insulted and uneasy by these developments. "Ethical dilemmas about AI aside, the posts are completely disconnected with ManyVids as a site," a creator noted. This disconnection has led to ManyVids disabling comments on their posts, further distancing the platform from its community.
