Influencer Lily Phillips is making waves again, and this time she's opening up about her early introduction to adult content. Known for her daring career on OnlyFans, the 23-year-old didn't hold back during a revealing interview with BBC Newsnight that aired on April 8. Phillips shared, “Honestly, I probably watched pornography first when I was maybe 11. I've always known about it, I always knew it was a thing. I always thought it was very normal to watch.”
“I personally don’t think pornography is a bad thing, in moderation. I just think when … younger adults have a lot of access to it, that’s when it does become a problem.”
Phillips believes that her early exposure helped her become "sex-confident" as she matured, admitting she learned extensively from the adult entertainment industry. “That’s mostly how I learned, through pornography,” she added. “I do think it’s had a positive effect on me, just in terms of, like, understanding things a little bit more.”
Phillips rose to notoriety late last year with a bold YouTube documentary titled "I Slept With 100 Men in One Day," which chronicled her eye-opening experience of intimate encounters with 100 men over 24 hours. Reflecting on this challenge during her recent interview, Phillips admitted feeling "really underprepared" and noted that "not all" of the participants respected the conditions she set.
“I think some of them disrespected my decision to have a time limit on our sex,” she stated, emphasizing that the rules were clear: "We have sex for this amount of time, we film it. Maybe a couple of them were disrespecting me.”
Despite the controversy, Phillips revealed that her parents have been supportive throughout her unconventional career. “My parents knew straight from the start what I was doing,” she shared. “They were a bit apprehensive because they wanted me to be safe and make good decisions. I just think I can’t hold myself back because I’m scared of what other people might think.”
Even though the journey has been intense and at times "robotic," as she described in the documentary, Phillips stands by her choices and continues to make headlines with her candid confessions and bold endeavors.
