It's prejudice and discrimination against me,” Marsh stated, as she recalled the allegations of poor animal welfare and personal attacks that have plagued her.

“It's actually made me suicidal. I've had to go to the doctors, properly suicidal and crying my eyes out,” she revealed, highlighting the severe impact of the online harassment.

Legal Victory Amidst Animosity

In June, Marsh celebrated a significant legal victory against Uttlesford District Council, which had previously denied her a wild animal licence, preventing her from adopting eight ring-tailed lemurs. The council's decision was overturned by a judge at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court, who recognized Marsh's dedication to animal care and criticized the council for ignoring evidence in her favor.

The legal proceedings revealed the council had spent over £34,000 on the case, including nearly £20,000 in costs awarded to Marsh. “I think it's disgusting they spent that money on me, absolutely disgusting,” Marsh commented, expressing her frustration over the council's actions.

Passion for Animal Rescue

Amidst the legal drama, Marsh remains resolute in her commitment to her sanctuary. She insists that her true passion lies in animal rescue, a dream she pursued even during her high-profile entertainment career. “I only went into showbiz to try and earn enough money to start an animal sanctuary,” she shared.

Despite the criticism, Marsh continues to care for a variety of animals at her 3.5-acre sanctuary, including alpacas, emus, and reptiles. Her dedication to Fripps Farm reflects her transition from a life once filled with glitzy parties to one grounded in the care and love for animals.
