Fitness influencer and OnlyFans star Chelsea Jenks, aged 29, has shared an intriguing revelation about her career choice – it was her father who first suggested she explore the world of adult content creation. Jenks, whose father is a keen boxing enthusiast, was inspired after he noticed female boxers successfully balancing their sports careers with OnlyFans. "Years before I ever started, he actually said to me, 'You should do OnlyFans,'" Jenks revealed in a press release shared on June 9. The idea came to him after following a female boxer with 'no nudes' in her bio, suggesting it as a lucrative opportunity for Jenks.
“It's funny that my dad was the one who put the idea of joining OnlyFans in my head before anyone else,” Jenks mused.
Growing up under the watchful eyes of a strict father, Chelsea faced many rules, especially concerning boys. She humorously recalls being denied sleepovers at boyfriends' houses and having to adhere to strict boundaries. Yet, when she finally launched her OnlyFans page, her father’s reaction was surprisingly supportive. "I saw my dad that weekend and said, 'I've started OnlyFans.' He'd already seen it and was just like, 'Yeah, that's alright,'" she shared, noting that her account has become a light-hearted topic between them.
Jenks' parents are aware of her topless content, but she maintains discretion regarding the specifics. "My parents know I do OnlyFans and that it's more than just posting photos online. But I don't think they need to know all the specifics," she explained.
Despite her parents' support, not everyone has been as accepting of Chelsea's OnlyFans career. She recounts losing a family friend's approval after a content trip with other creators, leading to awkward conversations about societal perceptions of her work. "It was obvious the problem was OnlyFans," she acknowledged.
Jenks, who is in a committed relationship with her partner of nine years, navigates judgment based on misconceptions about her profession. "People still judge me more than they judge someone in a so-called respectable job," she lamented. However, Chelsea stands firm in her belief that everyone embodies different personas in their personal and professional lives. "As long as I'm not harming anyone or scamming anyone, why does it matter? At the end of the day, it's work."
