Returning to Her Roots

In a heartfelt revelation, Bates explained that her ancestors were part of a Mennonite community, which made this transition feel like a homecoming. "I wanted to get back to small roots again," she mentioned. At a time when her career and personal life seemed to be at a crossroads, this TV opportunity came as a divine intervention.

Bates' journey with faith is equally compelling. After years as a self-proclaimed "proud atheist," she felt a void that modeling and superficial living couldn’t fill. Turning to faith, she was baptized in January 2025 and shared her transformation journey on Instagram. "Three months ago I walked into @zoechurchla a complete skeptic with zero faith," she reflected.

“I prayed that I find my community, I prayed that I find my faith family, I prayed to get more connected with my church and I prayed to help me serve more to help others around me.”

A New Chapter Begins

Kendra Bates is now embracing her new life with a fresh perspective. "I no longer struggle with the fact that I did OnlyFans because I’m learning the grace and forgiveness of God," she expressed to Fox News. Her past is something she’s ready to leave behind as she forges a new path, living a life guided by faith.

"Am I a perfect Christian? Absolutely not. I’m learning and growing every day," Bates admitted. Yet, she feels more aligned with her values than ever before, surrounding herself with people who support her spiritual journey. With a renewed sense of purpose, Bates is walking a path that feels more genuine and fulfilling, beyond her previous life in Los Angeles.
