Kit was only seven when she faced a pivotal question from her grandmother: "Are you excited for your baptism?" Growing up in a devout Mormon family, Kit knew this moment was coming. Her childhood had been steeped in the church's teachings, but her formal baptism wasn't due until she turned eight. This was the age when she could choose to join the church formally. However, Kit was hesitant.
"At eight years old, you're able to make a decision if you want to be a part of this church or not," Kit, now 27, explained. "The reasoning behind that is if you are baptised and then you leave, it's like the biggest sin you can commit." Kit was uncertain about her commitment to the church, and her candid response to her grandmother stirred up quite a storm.
"I wasn't particularly dedicated [to Mormonism]," Kit confessed. "Really, really young, I realised women weren't super important in the church. Like, the most important thing you can do is have as many babies as possible. None of that really sat well with me."
The years that followed were filled with internal conflict for Kit. While she went through with the baptism to appease her family, her faith never solidified. The more she learned about the church's stances, particularly on women and LGBTQ+ issues, the more she distanced herself.
By the age of 19, Kit decided to step away from the church, though the process of leaving formally was complicated. Her family, already aware of her growing discontent, wasn't shocked by her decision. "They weren't terribly surprised because I had really hated the church for several years," she noted.
Kit's life took an unexpected turn when she was 23. Struggling financially, she began live-streaming on TikTok, where her audience encouraged her to explore OnlyFans. Despite initial reservations, her followers' enthusiasm propelled her forward. "They really believed in me as an audience," she shared. "They just tossed money at me for a year until the whole thing gained traction. It was kind of crazy."
Now a top earner on the platform, Kit's secret life remains undisclosed to the church, though she suspects many are aware. "I never really discussed it with my parents, I don't think they want to know," Kit said. Her OnlyFans career has been a liberating experience, giving her opportunities she never imagined possible.
At 27, Kit is thriving, working towards a PhD in mathematics, and embracing a life far removed from her Mormon upbringing. Despite the church's disapproval of her career choice, Kit has found a sense of freedom and fulfillment she cherishes. "My life is totally different now. I have found OnlyFans to be a really freeing place that has given me a lot of opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise had," Kit reflected. "It's more work than people think it is, but I don't feel like it's work because I genuinely enjoy it so much."
Kit's journey from a strict religious background to OnlyFans stardom is a testament to her resilience and determination to live life on her own terms.
