In a recent interview, Fanning revealed she's not "very modest" when it comes to performing nude scenes, citing her experience in Hulu's 'The Great,' where she portrayed the legendary Catherine the Great. "I feel like I kind of broke that down in The Great," Fanning told People, adding, "I’ve kind of already done this." Her previous work has given her confidence, allowing her to approach similar scenes in her latest series with ease.

“I am really proud of how the nudity is depicted in [Margo’s Got Money Troubles], because it’s not in an overly sexualised way at all," Fanning emphasized.

Nudity with Purpose and Realism

In 'Margo's Got Money Troubles,' Fanning's character turns to OnlyFans as a means of financial support after an unexpected pregnancy with her English professor. The actress explained that the nude scenes are integral to the storyline, which focuses on the realities of motherhood, including breastfeeding. "A lot of it is actually just having to do with the necessities of motherhood, the need to feed your child," she shared.

Further detailing the creative process, Fanning humorously recounted the use of prosthetics for breastfeeding scenes, adding a touch of realism to her portrayal. "I did have prosthetics to make [my boobs] look like breastfeeding boobs and milk that would squirt out this contraption," she explained, sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the filming process.
