Denise Richards has worn many hats - Bond Girl, Playboy icon, and Real Housewife of Beverly Hills - but her latest role might just be the wildest yet. The 54-year-old star is stepping into the spotlight with her three daughters, Sami (20), Lola (19), and Eloise (13), in a brand-new Bravo reality series, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, premiering March 4.
Chatting exclusively with PEOPLE, Denise promises a no-holds-barred look at her life. 'It’s just another crazy chapter,' she teases with a playful laugh. 'Trust me, it’s never dull around here!'
Joined by her husband Aaron Phypers, Denise is ready to let the cameras capture their unfiltered family dynamic. Whether it’s sisterly spats or heartfelt moments, this show is set to reveal it all. Buckle up, because the Richards clan is about to take reality TV by storm!
Denise’s daughters are as unique as they come, and their dynamic is pure entertainment. Sami, the eldest, admits she’s been pushing for a reality show forever. 'Every time something went wrong in our family, I’d joke, "Where are the cameras? We need to film this!"' she says with a grin.
Lola, recently baptized in the Christian church, acknowledges their differences with a sweet shrug. 'I love Sami, but we’re on totally different paths - and that’s okay.' Meanwhile, 13-year-old Eloise, adopted by Denise as an infant, often plays the peacemaker. Despite a chromosomal disorder causing developmental delays, Denise beams with pride: 'Eloise understands everything and can shift the mood with just a raised eyebrow!'
Aaron, who adopted Eloise in 2019 after marrying Denise, is all in on this family adventure. 'She’s a sweetheart,' he gushes. 'I love her like my own - it’s just who we are.' Their bond shines through, even amidst the chaos.
One of the hottest topics in the Richards household? Sami’s decision to join OnlyFans at 18. 'I wanted to get my own apartment, and working at a candy shop wasn’t going to cut it,' Sami explains. Her earnings now cover her rent, and she’s owning her choices with confidence.
'When I saw Sami facing backlash for embracing her sexuality, it really upset me - as a mom and as a woman in business,' Denise confesses.
So, in a move no one saw coming, Denise launched her own OnlyFans account! 'It’s quite lucrative, by the way,' she adds with a cheeky wink. Sami’s cool with it, joking, 'I wish she’d waited a bit since she started right after me, but it’s fine!' Lola, ever the supportive sister, simply says, 'Whatever makes her happy.'
Denise also opens up about her relationship with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, father to Sami and Lola. After a messy split in 2005, she’s worked hard to shield her girls from the fallout. 'They’ve been through a lot,' she admits. 'I did my best, even if they were upset with me at times - there’s no parenting handbook!'
Now, with Charlie sober since 2017, things are looking up. 'He’s been supportive from the start,' Denise shares, recalling a sweet text he sent after seeing the show’s trailer. 'It meant so much to me.' The family even keeps an open door for Charlie, his third ex-wife Brooke Mueller, and their twin sons, Bob and Max, during holidays.
Denise’s philosophy? 'The more, the merrier! I want everyone to get along and be at peace.' It’s clear this blended family has found a way to make it work, drama and all. For more juicy details on Denise and her crew, grab the latest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday!
