Camilla Araujo isn't shying away from the hiccups she faced with the launch of her social media mentorship program, 'Becoming Her.' During a chat with Julia Filippo on her podcast, Araujo candidly discussed the unexpected challenges she encountered. Despite the initial chaos, she's not letting it derail her journey, claiming the program already boasts some impressive successes.
Recalling the months before the program's debut, Araujo shared how the anticipation led to intense anxiety. "The months leading up to me dropping 'Becoming Her', I was like really ill," she admitted. Adding to the stress, Araujo had hoped for a smoother launch. Still, her message is clear – setbacks won't stop her.
“Obviously, launch did not go as expected, but we keep going. We keep pursuing. We keep pushing through.”
Discussing the mental toll of online criticism, Araujo opened up about how negativity from the internet can be demotivating. "I feel like with anything when the internet just is just… pounding in on you, like it's just so demotivating," she said. Despite the backlash, she finds strength in the community she's creating and the real wins she's witnessing.
Even with the rocky start, Araujo beams about the achievements within her mentorship circle. Watching women succeed has turned the project into one of her most rewarding experiences. She shared a story of a young woman in the program who started earning significant income quickly, highlighting the impact 'Becoming Her' is making.
“Watching these women win has been so f-cking incredible.”
Despite the initial setbacks, Araujo feels she's found a new purpose with 'Becoming Her.' The program isn't just a business for her – it's a support network where members encourage one another. "It's like a community, and they all text each other, and they're like, 'Hey guys, I posted a TikTok. You should come support me,'" she explained.
Amidst the launch drama, Araujo also addressed misconceptions about her stance on OnlyFans creators. She clarified that her shift away from OnlyFans is a personal choice, driven by her passion to explore new avenues. "I think the one thing that got misconstrued in all of this was that I hate OnlyFans girls now," she clarified.
Camilla Araujo is embracing the messiness of her 'Becoming Her' launch, prioritizing personal happiness and growth over perfection, and looking forward to continuing her journey with fresh purpose.
