Californians are unabashedly indulging in their OnlyFans fascination, spending an eye-popping $350.6 million on the platform in 2025 alone. The Golden State's residents have proven to be some of the site's most dedicated patrons, with Los Angeles emerging as a major player in this economic splurge.
According to a detailed analysis by OnlyGuider, an OnlyFans search engine, Los Angeles residents alone contributed a staggering $71.3 million to this total. This positions LA just behind New York City in nationwide spending. On average, Angelenos were dishing out about $195,000 daily for access to exclusive content, showcasing the city's appetite for adult entertainment.
“Despite its massive population diluting per-capita intensity, no other state comes close to California’s raw economic contribution to the creator economy,” noted the report.
The extensive spending from California accounts for nearly 13% of all OnlyFans revenue across the United States, marking it as the leading state in terms of sheer dollar contribution to the creator economy. While Los Angeles leads the pack, other cities aren't too far behind. San Diego added approximately $21.3 million to the total, with San Francisco and San Jose each contributing about $11.7 million. Fresno rounded out the top five with $4.5 million.
Los Angeles County's total expenditure on OnlyFans reached a hefty $105.5 million, with a notable 70% dedicated to direct messages and bespoke pay-per-view content. This trend highlights a growing preference for personalized interactions over static subscriptions, as fans are willing to pay a premium for custom-tailored content.
In the realm of content subscriptions, creators on OnlyFans typically charge between $4.99 and $49.99 per month. However, the allure of custom pay-per-view content, where creators craft videos or photos to meet specific fan requests, allows them to command higher fees. This dynamic has contributed significantly to Los Angeles' reign as the top spender in California.
While LA leads by a wide margin, other hotspots in the county have shown notable engagement. Long Beach ranks second in spending with $3.8 million, followed closely by West Hollywood at $1.9 million. These figures underscore the widespread appeal and financial impact of OnlyFans across the region.
