Boston's Big Spend on OnlyFans

In the year 2025, Bostonians made headlines by spending over $14 million on OnlyFans, positioning themselves among the top cities in the U.S. for per capita spending on the platform. According to OnlyGuider, the premier search engine for OnlyFans, this spending spree amounts to a daily expenditure of $39,304, placing Boston 16th out of 167 U.S. cities and 13th globally. This translates to an impressive $212,351 for every 10,000 residents, reflecting a vibrant digital content scene.

“Every market tells a different story. Boston’s OnlyFans data reflects real consumer behaviour and a genuine creator economy — one that’s generating income, taxes, and cultural conversations that go far beyond the platform itself,” said OnlyGuider CEO Sam Pierce.

Interestingly, Boston's per capita spending is 2.7 times higher than the national average of $77,334, revealing the city's significant appetite for digital content. This surge represents a 4.09% increase from the previous year, underscoring a growing trend in the city's engagement with digital creators.

A Hub for OnlyFans Creators

Boston isn't just a big spender; it's also a significant hub for content creators. With 8,509 OnlyFans creators based in the city, they collectively generated over $11 million in revenue during 2025. This thriving creator economy highlights Boston's role not only as a consumer of digital content but also as a producer, contributing to the platform's global success.

Regionally, Boston stands as the highest spending city in Massachusetts, outshining others like Cambridge, Worcester, and Springfield. Cambridge follows with a distant second, contributing $1.5 million, while Worcester, Springfield, and Lowell trail with $1.4 million, $1.2 million, and $787,000 respectively.

Massachusetts' Statewide Spending

As a whole, Massachusetts residents spent a whopping $56.6 million on OnlyFans in 2025, equating to $155,068 every day. This places the state 22nd among all 50 states and Washington, D.C., accounting for 2.1% of the total U.S. market. In the Northeast, Massachusetts ranks 4th in total spending, showcasing a spending intensity of $79,406 per 10,000 residents – 3% above the national average.

These figures not only shed light on the state's digital consumption patterns but also highlight the significant role that platforms like OnlyFans play in shaping modern economic and cultural landscapes.
