“Every day I’d write something pro-Christian, pro-Second Amendment, pro-life, anti-abortion, anti-woke and anti-immigration,” Sam told the outlet of crafting Hart’s online persona.

Sam's approach was both clever and controversial. He targeted the MAGA and conservative niche, attracted by the loyalty and disposable income of this audience. Emily Hart's online persona as a blonde registered nurse who enjoys ice fishing and shooting firearms quickly garnered a substantial following.

Sam's strategic choice proved profitable, with Emily’s content consistently achieving millions of views. The algorithm embraced her pro-conservative messaging, allowing Sam to make a significant income while dedicating only a fraction of his day to the project. "I was spending maybe 30 to 50 minutes of my day, and I was making good money for a medical student," Sam said, reflecting on his unexpected success.

However, not all stories have a happy ending. Emily's rise came to an abrupt halt when Meta banned her profiles in February due to fraudulent activity. Despite the ban, Sam stands by his creation, insisting he was not scamming anyone and is now focusing on his medical studies.
